Privacy Policy

General Information

Your privacy is very important to Patentanwälte Isenbruck Bösl Hörschler PartG mbB, especially when it comes to processing your personal data. You do not have to provide any personal information in order to use our website. In certain cases, however, we will need your name and your address, as well as further information, to process your request. We will inform you accordingly if this should be the case. Beyond that, we only store and process information that you provide voluntarily or automatically.

Collection and Processing

Every visit to our website and each request for data from the website are logged. This includes the name of the page visited or the file downloaded, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, a message if the page load was successful, type of browser, and requesting domain. This usage data is stored for internal statistical purposes. Additionally, the IP address of your computer is logged. More detailed personal data is only collected if this information is provided voluntarily, for example in the context of a request.

Utilization and Disclosure

We keep your personal data confidential and only disclose it to third parties if such a disclosure is necessary to process your request. We will never rent, sell, or lease your personal data or personally identifiable information to any third party. Your personal data is used only for the purpose of processing your requests, responding to your queries, as well as the internal compilation of anonymous statistics. The sole exception are services you requested that include consent for the use of your additional data as well as the disclosure of your information to government bodies or authorities as required by law. We will disclose the data collected and stored with your consent to business partners within the scope of contractual agreements, insofar as this is required in your interest. Our business partners are, of course, required and obliged to comply with the statutory data protection regulations.

In its decision of May 12, 1998, „Haftung für Links“ (312 O 85/98), the Hamburg District Court has ruled conclusively that by linking to an external website, one may be held responsible for the content of the linked site and may therefore be liable. According to the court, this can only be prevented by expressly dissociating oneself from the content of the websites in question, which Patentanwälte Isenbruck Bösl Hörschler PartG mbB hereby does. Patentanwälte Isenbruck Bösl Hörschler PartG mbB will not transfer any of your information to non-EU countries without your consent, unless required to do so for business purposes and expressly permitted by the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

You have the right to have your personal data, which we process automatically based on your consent or in the course of fulfilling a contract, provided to you or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you require the direct transfer of data to another party, this can only be complied with to the extent that it is technically feasible.

Deletion of Personal Data

Any stored personal data will be deleted when the user of the website and/or client revokes their consent to the storage of their data, when the information is no longer required for the purpose for which it was stored, or when its storage is no longer permissible on other legal grounds. This does not affect data for billing and bookkeeping purposes.

Social Media Links

Our website implements a "social media button" linking to the social network LinkedIn. Clicking this button will lead you to the login page of the social network if you are not yet logged in at this time.

In case you are already logged into LinkedIn at the time you click the button, the social network may already collect data about you at the click of the button and will in particular be able to identify which page you are coming from. If you do not wish LinkedIn to collect information about you as described above, you must be logged out of LinkedIn before clicking the button.

For further details regarding the data security on the social network our pages link to, we recommend regularly checking the privacy policy of LinkedIn.
