Dr.-Ing. Stefan Engels

Dr.-Ing. Stefan Engels is a patent attorney and holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering. His patent attorney practice focuses on drafting patent applications and supporting them through the examination process, as well as opposition and appeal proceedings.

Dr. Engels' technological expertise covers a wide range of areas, including sealing and valve technology in mechanical engineering, energy storage systems, medical technology, construction, and plastics technology.

Stefan Engels has been working in intellectual property law since 2021 and joined the law firm Isenbruck Bösl Hörschler in 2026. He previously studied mechanical engineering with a specialization in aerospace engineering at RWTH Aachen University, where he received his doctorate in flight system dynamics in 2019. He then gained valuable experience as a product manager at a software company.
